Volunteering & Membership
Volunteer! 8 - 10am Thursdays
Volunteers meet every Thursday morning at 8am in the Sanctuary. Jobs are allocated as required. Our volunteers work for approximately 2 hours followed by a cuppa and chat at around 10am.
Jobs may include:
weeding,
clearing drains,
planting trees and shrubs,
keeping picnic area clean and tidy,
maintaining picnic tables and seating,
mowing and brush cutting areas as required,
Keeping paths and walkways clear of debris
Other jobs as identified and as required
Membership
You can also contribute to Foote Sanctuary by becoming a member. Annual membership is $15 and this money goes towards resourcing the work of the association and bushcare work. Family Membership is $50 and Life Membership is $200.
The Foote Sanctuary Association meets at the Sanctuary on the second Saturday every second month at 9.30am, followed by morning tea.
Our 2023 AGM was on 9 December 2023 at the Sanctuary Picnic Area
Donations are always welcome
The Foote Sanctuary Association is a registered charity with the ACNC and has Deductible Gift Recipient status with the Register of Environmental Organisations.
